Okay, if you follow me on SnapChat you KNOW my little monkey LOVES “tubby tub time,” as we call it.  He’s obsessed. The little guy would sit in there for hours if we let him… Okay sometimes we do let him sit in there for a few extra minutes, but hey… he loves it.  He’s just splashing and splashing, playing with the running water and his new toys.  

 

I love watching him play in the tub.  He smiles from ear to ear with those big cheeks, and is starting to chat away. It’s adorable. My momma heart just melts every single time!

So with that said, it is SO important to me to use the right kinds of washes and lotions that come along with bath time.  Especially with his sensitive skin. Aveeno Baby has been my all time favorite to use on Oaks.  It helps with his dry skin.

Living in Utah can make your skin extra dry, and I am glad there is a product out there that will help soothe that sweet soft skin of his.
 
He used to break out with a rash when I used other products, but ever since using Aveeno Baby Wash & Shampoo, and Baby Daily Moisture Lotion, his skin is just perfect!  No dryness, redness or rashes.

That sure makes for a happy baby! As you can tell he’s a charmer.

THIS dress though.. dying over the cuteness. It is so spring and so awesome.

Basically all the clothes I get for Oaks are from Zara.  95% of his clothes are from Zara I would say.  I feel like that is the only place that has reasonable prices for baby clothes, AND not to mention they are super super cute.  

I have ordered from them countless times on all baby items, so I can really say they are perfect quality and last until your baby grows out of them.  

So speaking of baby, I wanted to update you on whats going on with my little guy.  When he turned 6 months old I started sleep training him using sleep sense training.  It working AMAZING.  He sleeps 10-12 hours every single night now.  He goes to bed at 7pm.  It has been so nice because I get my alone time with TJ and he is happier and rested.  This also leads to better naps.

I was so incredibly nervous to start up this program, but really, had nothing to worry about.  It wasn’t HALF as bad as I thought it was going to be.  I had MAJOR anxiety about it.  

I won’t go into to much detail, because this topic is for another post, but I have stopped nursing other than just in the mornings when he gets in bed with me for a couple hours.  So really, it all worked out and now we are both rested, and I feel so much better.  Seriously, I didn’t realize what a zombie I was until I finally got the rest I needed.  

Plus not nursing all day I think has balanced my hormones out too, so I am FINALLY starting to feel like my old self again.

With all that said though, I would NOT take back co-sleeping and nursing him this long.  I loved every second of it.  It was just time for a change.  We both needed it.  

Will be going into more details about how I sleep trained soon!

Ps, how is my baby already 7 months?? PLEASE share your tips on how you cope with them growing to fast 🙁
