So, lets just start out by saying… it is so not easy dressing the bump!  I am so in over my head with this topic because I am still trying to figure out how to dress this cute bump.  In my first trimester I wasn’t so sure I even had the motivation to care what I looked like, with morning sickness and exhaustion.. lets just be real here all you want to do is lay in bed all day and not even think about getting in those jeans.  Everything starts to get bigger.. cellulite on the thighs, the stomach gets a little chubby.. its not very fun to go through when you don’t even feel pregnant yet! But hey I am so grateful I am pregnant!!

As my second trimester started I started to get my motivation back and I could see a little bump (tiny bump) coming in and got excited because it no longer looked like I was getting chubby.  BUT the hard part started to really kick in… my jeans were very uncomfortable even with a belly band and my tops were not fitting from my massive boobs…. like HOLY cow… Back up.. lets talk about these boobs for a second.  Those babies came in the first month overnight!!  I am talking 3 cup sizes!  You guys know what I am talking about…  People kept asking If I got a boob job when they didn’t know.   Sorry but this is a real deal here haha, and my pregnant friends know exactly what I am talking about.  It is great at the beginning but now they are just in the way of my life haha!  So, those are another story.  My tops are way tight, so that leads to a whole other wardrobe, which I am fine with for the most part.   So what I have found is,  dresses… dresses are magic, which is why that is all you find me wearing these days.  They are so comfortable… its heaven.  I have also found that getting a size bigger in boyfriend jeans are working for this trimester without a belly band, and those are comfortable too with being baggy.

So ladies, I know your pain with this topic.  It’s emotionally draining and all you want to do is cry in your closet when you get to a point where nothing fits, or is to uncomfortable to wear in your closet from before pregnancy haha 🙂  But the key is to invest in some larger BF jeans, some maxi dresses, big sweaters (if its winter) and some cute dresses, tight dresses too to show off your cute bump, and kimonos to go over your dresses for summer,  and ladies get a spray tan!  (wear a mask over nose and mouth while getting it)  I promise this saves you.  It makes you feel ten times better and ten times skinnier.   That is my advice at what I have learned thus far.  I am learning as I go!  Hopefully I can figure out more tips and tricks.  OH, and today marks my half way mark! YAY!

Have a great day!
