Skinny Bites: Green Drink…

Hello my lovely readers, I started drinking this gem three weeks ago and it has honestly changed my life. I never thought that this little powerful green drink can change so much, or else I would’ve started drinking my greens a long time ago.
I have noticed a change in my skin, the look and the feel of it. My skin has cleared up. No break outs or anything. It’s a miracle haha 🙂 I have so much more energy now too! My grandma was right when she told me to eat my greens haha!
You can find this Lime Essential Oil, Giner Root Powder and Slippery Elm Powder at your local Good Earth or Whole Foods market.
I just put in half a teaspoon of the powder and a couple drops of the Lime Essential Oil. It is very strong, but taste it to your liking.
Put 1 cup of the frozen Pineapple and Mango mix
1 cup Pineapple and Mango mix
Big handful of Spinach and Kale. Sometimes I do an extra small handful of both.
Another cup of Pineapple and Mango mix. This will help it blend better by putting another cup on top of the greens.
1 cup water, and blend it all together to pour in a cup. It should make about 3-4 cups.

Next, I put a spoonful of Chia Seed in. You can also find this at your local Whole Foods market.
This Chia Seed is definitely a superfood. It is amazing stuff. I read in a magazine the other day that it will expand in your stomach 5 times it’s size making you feel fuller and satisfied longer. Which is amazing right? I was blown away mostly because it is so true! You will see once you drink it. It also, will balance your insulin levels, so you don’t feel starved out of no where. You can also sprinkle Chia Seed in your soup or salads too.
I must tell you first, that this drink is not your fruity Jamba Juice drink! Haha so don’t expect that when you drink it. I am finding it delicious though and very refreshing and healthy.
I either drink this in the morning or right before I work out. I find it a really good pre-work out drink, mostly because it balances your insulin levels like I said above. No one likes to feel starved during there work out.  That way you can have a good work out and not have to cut it short!

Happy juicing!
Thank you for reading!
Love,
Sara Lynn

  3. Despite the fact that I found this specific post genuinely interesting, I couldn’t help but to ponder whether or not the statistics you used are accurate. That claim seems fairly odd to me. Any thoughts whether or not it’s actually a fact?
