HOLIDAY MOCKTAIL RECIPE FOR MY PREGGO MAMAS

Alright my pregnant mamas who loved to have a cocktail before they got pregnant, or for those who don’t drink and want a little something to sip on!  This is for you!  And for those who want a little alcohol in it, feel free to add some titos vodka in my friends.  Check out my COSMIC CRANBERRY HOLIDAY COCKTAIL from last year too.  That can be a mocktail, just remove the alcohol.

Honestly, I’m not a big drinker, but I love to have a drink socially.  Like going out on a date with TJ, or out with friends, or even just sitting my our fire together after Oaks goes to bed.  It’s nice to have a glass and unwind.  So I created this little mocktail, super easy btw and its been nice to sip on while I’m pregnant.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Club soda
  • 1/2 squeeze lemon
  • 1/2 packet TRUE LEMON (any flavor is good, but I love raspberry lemonade)
  • Ice
  • Wine glass

DIRECTIONS

  • Add ice to the wine glass.  Then pour in the club soda filling it as much as you want to drink.  Then mix in 1/2 packet of true lemon.  Squeeze in some lemon to your preference and then stir and enjoy!

I’ve been giving Oaks true lemon as his juice for over a year now.  I’m not a fan of giving him juice with all the sugar in it.  So this has been a really nice replacement and he loves it, plus it doesn’t have any aspartame in it like the crystal light packets do.   So he actually will ask for “juice in there”  in his sippy and thats what he’s talking about.. haha its really funny the way he says it.  “momma more juice in narr”  I’ll do honest apple juice while we’re out at a restaurant, but thats a rare occasion.  I don’t keep any of it in my house.  Thats not to say I don’t give him treats, but I just don’t keep them in the house.  I notice a big difference when he’s eating to much sugar.  Anyways, thats a different blog topic ha.

Let me know if you guys like this, and share your mocktail recipes below!
