3 COMFORTING DRINKS TO CHILL WITH: OATSOME

If there is one thing that gets me through the day, its my drinks, they call me the bevqueen…. but really I ALWAYS have a drink with me, mostly coffee to be honest with a little Oatsome and some cinnamon, then I’ll have kombucha, but something next to me at all times.  

I’ve been experimenting with Oatsome the last couples of weeks, making all sorts of good drinks. Since we’re all home right now I wanted to share some drinks you can make in the comfort of your own home to get you through the day.  There is nothing like having something to sip on all day.

 

Warm Mocha Oat Latte

1 cup coffee, or 1-2 shots espresso

1 cup oatsome

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp agave

1 tsp cacao powder

DIRECTIONS

  • Warm up milk in microwave or sauce pan for about 1 minute.  Then add everything to a blender and blend on low for about 30 seconds until frothy.  Then pour and drink!

 

Blended Oat Chocolate Smoothie

1 cup oatsome

1/2 cup chilled coffee

1 tbsp peanut or almond butter

drop of honey (the tiniest droplet)

1 tsp better body foods coconut oil

1/2 frozen banana

1 tsp cacao powder

pinch of pink salt

  • In a blender, blend all ingredients on high until smooth

 

Cinna-Nana Smoothie

1 cup oat some

1 frozen banana

1 tbsp nut butter

1 tsp better body foods maca powder

1 tsp better body foods agave

1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • In a blender, blend all ingredients on high until smooth

2 WAYS TO USE OATSOME

I’m so excited to introduce to you OATSOME milk!  It’s a product that was created by Better Body Foods, I’ve been an ambassador for them for almost 2 years, I love cooking and baking with all of their products!  

This one I’m SO EXCITED for.  I used to use almond milk all the time, but I’ve replaced it with this because it’s so good.  We don’t drink cows milk in this house, so this is a must around here.  I love it because it has no added sugars, non gmo, organic, whole grain, gluten and dairy free.  It tastes amazing!  I’ve already gone through 4 of these in 2 weeks.  Here is what I’ve been making.

PUMPKIN-OAT COLD BREW

(my healthy version from the starbucks pumpkin cold brew)

DIRECTIONS

  • Add all of these to the frother up to the max line of the frother.  Oatsome, pumpkin puree, MCT oil (this one you don’t need, has no taste, but I like it for healthy brain energy), & sweet drops.  Don’t add to many sweet drops, just a couple.  If you need more after, then taste first and add more in once its finished if needed.  They’re really sweet and if you add too much, it’ll make it too sweet.
  • Once its done, place your ice (or no ice) into a cup with your coffee, which btw these COFFEE MUGS are so cute, just ordered them. 
  • Then top with your frothed yummy pumpkin oat milk. Add pumpkin spice on top, however much you want!

 

MY SECOND DRINK IS A PROTEIN SHAKE!  

The great thing about this Oat Milk, is you can just add it into whatever you want, drink it plain with cinnamon on top, add it into your smoothies, coffee, cereals whatever you want!

PEANUT BUTTER OAT MILK PROTEIN SMOOTHIE

BLEND IT ALL UP! I use the Blendtec Designer Series, favorite blender of all time, hands down.
