3 QUICK WAYS TO WEAR A SUMMER BANDANA

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been kind of obsessed with wearing a scarf this Summer.  I wore this on my Lake Powell trip like every day.  Then when we went to Huntington Beach, I wore it like crazy again, so I figured I would post show you 3 ways I’ve been wearing it.    I think I love it because I don’t have to do my hair.   Hair isn’t my thing, I don’t love doing it.   Although I love it when it’s done, but I’d rather have my make up done and my hair pulled up in some way, then my hair fully blown out.  (although I wish I had someone to give me a blow out all the time, wouldn’t that be nice)

Anyway, I’ll share this on my IG story today too, so you can see me actually do it.

SCROLL DOWN TO THE 3 WAYS  I WEAR THIS SUMMER HAIR SCARF

  1. HAIR DOWN WITH SCARF.  I fold the scarf, so it’s skinny.  Flip hair over your hair and bring the folder wrap around by holding the two ends of the the scarf.   Place it where you would like to tie it, and fold it over twice tying a knot.  Thats it!  Super easy.

2. UP WRAPPED AROUND.  Pull your hair up in a bun or top knot.  However you like it, then do the same thing as number 1.   To get the bun I’ve created, I’ll pull my hair up and tie it in a pony tail, then I’ll wrap the pony around the tie and create a bun where I’d like it, then bobby pin it up.

3. UP WRAPPED AROUND THE BUN.  The same as number 2, but you’ll fold the scarf over and then start wrapping it around the bun starting at the front to back.  Then tie it off in the back where you’ll like it.

This styles are SO perfect for Summer!  I don’t usually blow dry my hair a lot in the summer and I’ve got really curly hair, so I’ll just wrap my hair up real quick and it looks done.  It really helps keep the hair out of the way in the Summer heat!

Hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know if you have any questions!

MY 3 FAVORITE TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

Raise your hand if you can’t go one week without ordering something on Amazon!  I’ve got an amazon obsession.  They make it way to easy! I found these 3 travel organizers that have been a game changer for me.  I’ve already shared some of my favorites with you on the GAME CHANGING AMAZON FINDS post.  I’m going to just keep sharing my favorites from my amazon problem haha.  I get to test them all out for you, so here we go!  I’ll list all three here and then tell you why I love them as the post goes on.

  1. MAKE UP ORGANIZER
  2. POWDER & SEED DISPENSER
  3. TRUNK ORGANIZER

MAKE UP ORGANIZER.  This isn’t your regular organizer.  What makes it so great is it has little compartments to separate all the products in a really organized way, so that they aren’t touching each other at all.  I love being able to easily open up my make up and not have to dig and search for things.  Makes it easy to put on make up while traveling, or if you keep yours in something like this at all times, you’ll love this.  It’s very solid and and holds a lot!  It also has a compartment for your brushes, then a pocket on back, where I usually put my Dr Dennis Gross peel pads and glow pads for self tanning.

POWDER & SEED DISPENSER. This is actually for formula, so if you have a little baby this would be great for that, but I use it for my orgain chocolate protein powder, pbfit,  hemp and chia seed for when I’m on the go, or traveling.  Each compartment has a lid so no messes or spills.  When you’re ready to use, you remove the lid and then place the top lid on it to pour.  It’s the perfect size and not annoying to pack around.

TRUNK ORGANIZER. These are all super random items, but so efficient!  This trunk organizer has kept my car clean!  I just throw it all in this organizer and I’m good to go.  I’ve got an extra pair of clothes for Oaks at all times, swim shoes, swim diapers, wipes, sunscreen, hats, snacks  etc… Just anything that I know I’m going to need, I’ll throw it in there.  That way when I forget something in my bag (which I usually do) I’ll automatically have on hand in  my car.  You gotta have back up!  Being prepared in the car as a parent is a MUST. Right?!  So this organizer has been amazing.

All of these things save my life!  I love to be organized.  Life is already overwhelming as is, so to have everything ready to go and easy to grab, makes it all the better!  Make your life super efficient and you’ll thank me!
