IMG_7773Becoming a mom has made me get REAL efficient and hone in on whats important and whats not.  I’ve prioritized like no other. NOW, becoming a mom of two… whole other level.  Something that is really important to me that I’ll always prioritize is my health and well being.  Because If I don’t care of myself first, whose going to take care of my babies.

So this is why I’m getting majorly into smoothies because they’re quick and easy to make on the go, and quickly feeding myself, all while packing them FULL of all the nutrients this mama needs to get moving and going.   I’ve been really obsessing over Oatsome.  Oatsome was made by Better Body Foods that I talk about all day long.  They’re the best company.  I love love love their products, I use them to cook, bake with and all the above.  They have it all, and you know what you’re getting in their products.  No junk or bull shit.

And before we go on, you need to know that Walmart carries Oatsome.  EVERYONE has a walmart thats near, am I right??  Or simply get it online.   AND you need to know I’m giving away TWO of you a month supply of Oatsome on my Instagram right now.

GREEN BANANA GOODNESS

  • 1 CUP OATSOME
  • HUGE HANDFUL OF SPINACH
  • 1 TBSP ORGANIC PEANUT BUTTER ( I LIKE FRESH GRIND)
  • 1 BANANA
  • 1 SCOOP VITAL PROTEIN (CANT TASTE IT)
  • 6 ICE CUBES
  • BLEND IT UP! I USE BLENDTEC (worth every single penny)

 

STRAWBERRY & NANA OATSOME DELIGHT

  • 1 CUP OATSOME
  • 1/2 CUP ROLLED OATS (I LIKE BOBS RED MILL)
  • 1 CUP FROZEN STRAWBERRIES
  • 1/2 BANANA
  • 1 DATE
  • 1 TSP VANILLA
  • 6 ICE CUBES (IF NOT USING FROZEN STRAWBERRY)
  • 1 SCOOP VITAL PROTEIN (OPTIONAL-JUST ADDS PROTEIN)

2 WAYS TO USE OATSOME

I’m so excited to introduce to you OATSOME milk!  It’s a product that was created by Better Body Foods, I’ve been an ambassador for them for almost 2 years, I love cooking and baking with all of their products!  

This one I’m SO EXCITED for.  I used to use almond milk all the time, but I’ve replaced it with this because it’s so good.  We don’t drink cows milk in this house, so this is a must around here.  I love it because it has no added sugars, non gmo, organic, whole grain, gluten and dairy free.  It tastes amazing!  I’ve already gone through 4 of these in 2 weeks.  Here is what I’ve been making.

PUMPKIN-OAT COLD BREW

(my healthy version from the starbucks pumpkin cold brew)

DIRECTIONS

  • Add all of these to the frother up to the max line of the frother.  Oatsome, pumpkin puree, MCT oil (this one you don’t need, has no taste, but I like it for healthy brain energy), & sweet drops.  Don’t add to many sweet drops, just a couple.  If you need more after, then taste first and add more in once its finished if needed.  They’re really sweet and if you add too much, it’ll make it too sweet.
  • Once its done, place your ice (or no ice) into a cup with your coffee, which btw these COFFEE MUGS are so cute, just ordered them. 
  • Then top with your frothed yummy pumpkin oat milk. Add pumpkin spice on top, however much you want!

 

MY SECOND DRINK IS A PROTEIN SHAKE!  

The great thing about this Oat Milk, is you can just add it into whatever you want, drink it plain with cinnamon on top, add it into your smoothies, coffee, cereals whatever you want!

PEANUT BUTTER OAT MILK PROTEIN SMOOTHIE

BLEND IT ALL UP! I use the Blendtec Designer Series, favorite blender of all time, hands down.
