HOLA to the third trimester, the first and only trimester that makes is seem so impossible to dress the bump and look cute. I’ve had many breakdowns in my closet naked lets just say that. I wanted to share with you what I’ve figured out this trimester and what to wear and what not to.
DRESSES are your best friend this trimester, baggy shirts, shirts with long sleeves, shirts with shorter sleeves. I’m not a fan of wearing any sort of spaghetti strap in this trimester, but I guess it just depends on how cute the dress is and if its loud enough to distract from my arms.
I love Blanqi maternity pants, but in this trimester I can only wear those for so long until I start to freak out and feel extremely suffocated. I need to let the belly be free and have wind blowing up around that area if you know what I mean.
Either a dress or a long big T shirt, or shirt dress. I always size up in normal non maternity clothes. The only maternity clothes I buy is jeans, and pants. Everything else is just sized up, either to a medium or large. Depends on the brand.
OUTFIT #1 T-SHIRT DRESS WITH OVER THE KNEE BOOTS
This T-shirt dress could be sized up to a large or you can wear it with pants as a longer shirt as the belly grows. I ordered a size medium because I want to also wear it after I give birth. The nice thing about ordering things right now is you know you’ll be able to wear it after the baby and be comfortable. Baggy things are my jam right now.
OUTFIT #2 PRETTY SPRING DRESS WITH SOCK BOOTIES
Lets be honest, I only wear heels for maybe 30 minutes, so going for a cute spring sneaker would be super cute with this dress, or some mule slide ons. This dress was ordered as a size medium. The buttons were about to pop, so I definitely ordered this one to wear after as well, so if you have bit to go. Longer than 2 months, I would order a large.
OUTFIT #3 PINK MAXI DRESS WITH SPRING CLIPS
This is the dress I wore to my baby shower. I’M OBSESSED with this dress. It’s so comfortable and flatters the bump and pregnancy body in so many ways. The long sleeves are so flattering with the bump. How it singes below the boobs is so pretty for you cute bump. This is a size medium and I really could’ve gone with a small. This is a must have!!
OUTFIT #4 BODY CON DRESS WITH JEAN JACKET
I love the singe on the belly with this body con dress. I ordered a medium with this one as well and it’s perfect! This one is sleeveless so I added a jean jacket to it, plus it’s not the warmest here yet!
