NASTY GAL JACKET / HUDSON JEANS / VAGABOND SNEAKERS / KATE SPADE BAG / CELINE SUNGLASSES / FOREVER 21 CHOKER

The moment I laid eyes on this jacket, I fell in love!

I mean… how awesome is it!  Total 80’s vibes going on.

Kinda obsessed, and I want a jean one like it now too.  It’s worth every penny, seriously.  Really nice quality and you can wear it with any outfit.

I love the versatility of it, AND it makes any basic look, look amazing.

Switching lanes here… did everyone have a good Halloween?

Oaks left his monkey costume on for 46 seconds max.  He hated the thing, he kept pulling and crying at it.  The fact that we got a good photo of us in our costumes, is mind blowing with how he was acting about it ha 🙂

Also, a few of you have asked about who takes my photos and what camera I use.  Paige Nicolle takes most of my photos, including these ones.  She is located in Utah.

 I use a rebel t3i with a 55mm lense.

Have a great day!

WINDSOR TOP / TOPSHOP JEANS / SHOES HERE & HERE  (ON SALE!) / CELIENE SUNGLASSES / FRENCH CONNECTION BAG

I wear these jeans so much that you’re probably sick of them now.

They’re the perfect blue skinny jean, and under $100.  You can’t really beat that.

They come in other colors too, which I intend to buy soon, I love them so much.

So switching lanes here on a topic that isn’t quite relevant to the outfit, but I like to talk about real life other than what I am wearing.

So lately I have been able to learn how to be more mindful.  Actually, in other words Oaks has taught me how to be more mindful.

An example is, when he won’t nap.

Oh, the frustration.  I have gotten so upset about it that I have gone to dark places in my mind.  The  mind can go there if you let it.

Long story short, over time, I have taught myself how to be mindful when it comes to that.

I will slowly breath in and out, when something isn’t quite going as expected (because this happens A LOT as a mom) and sit there and close my eyes, and talk myself into a positive happy mind.

Reminding myself what is important and how grateful I am.  It sounds so cheesy, and so simple, but if you really sit back and take a second every day, and do this it will help you so much through all your life struggles and daily struggles.

There is an app called Head Space.  I don’t know if you’ve heard of it, but it takes you through stages every single day.  Just 10 minutes a day.

I know it has helped my husband with his anxiety.

This simple solution has worked for me, and it has helped me live in the moment and to be mindful with everything in my life.

If you want to try, go to your app store and type in “Head Space” and it will be the first one there.

Have a great weekend!
