JUMPSUIT / ALSO LOVE HERE & HERE / HEELS / WALLET (ON SALE!)

Since this jumpsuit only has two sizes left, I linked another two that are very cute! I’m wearing a size 4.  The sizes they have left are 2 & 10.   But seriously grab it if your size is left!  One of my favorites and they quality is so nice and super comfortable.

Switching lanes here, I wanted to talk about spicing it up.  What do I mean?  Well ya see, I know I feel like shit when I look like shit.  When I don’t try to do anything for myself that day, or try to even brush my hair…  this isn’t a vain thing to do.  Trying to look our best is something that I think fights the mental game in our head that says we suck.  By taking 10 minutes a day to spruce it up, you will have a better day!  No it isn’t a vain thing to say, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Just try a little harder to look a little better is all! You will feel a little better too.  I know the days I’m living in my own filth, I think to myself “what is life?” haha.  When the days I get up and try, I think to myself “you got this!”.  It really is a mental thing, but we’re human and getting up and trying makes it worth it.  Besides spice it up for that husband of yours.  I’m sure he’ll appreciate it!

NOW, I’m NOT saying go get dressed to the nines everyday, lashes, contour etc.. no not at all.  Just do what make you FEEL good.  For example, washing my face, putting on CC cream, mascara & my brows makes me feel accomplished and ready to take on the day.  That takes me tops 5 mins.

Now, let me take it back.  I know they’re hard days and busy days as a stay at home working mom that it just happens, and I live in my own filth, but shit happens.  All I’m saying is do what makes you feel good! If putting on the lipstick makes you feel good, then do it!

Also, another HUGE thing for me is getting dressed up and going out on a date with my husband… can you say THERAPUTIC.  No, but really I love doing that. It makes me feel human and not like I’m always wearing the mom hat.

Okay so, are you guys involved in my Secret FB group called LOVE HIIT BG BABES.  It’s basically a support group of moms using LOVE HIIT BG and sharing our tips and tricks with anything in life.  IF not, you should come join!  I wanted to create it to get more involved and get to know all of you better!  Just another place to chat!  Lots of things will be happening there, including a giveaways, and tips and secrets!

TOP / JEANS / HEELS / SUNGLASSES

We all know when it’s time for a break, a release from motherhood, you time, girls night, or at least I know the signal that rings “GET OUT” haha.    Whenever I’m starting to feel slightly like I’m going to lose my mind, and my patience runs thin, or I raise my voice at Oaks (which I feel bad for always)  I KNOW it’s time for a break.  By break I mean, alone time from it, getting away for even an hour.  Something that makes you feel like you again.  Don’t lose yourself in this motherhood “game”.  You gotta take care of you.  If you don’t take care of you, you will start to see a pattern of anger, annoyance, irritability etc… I know this because I’ve dealt with it a lot.  Sometimes I feel guilty of wanting a break.  But you gotta do it.

Guess what? It makes us a better mom, and then we can ACTUALLY live in the moment and ENJOY it.  Not looking at the clock like “ugh I’ve only been playing with him for 10 mins” haha.  You know what I mean.  Motherhood is so exhausting.  Here are some things I do that keep me SANE, and more calm and ready to TAKE ON MOTHERHOOD every day.  Find a babysitter and do it for yourself.

  1. Go out & chat with a friend, or family member- someone who makes you feel better, and makes you feel like you again.
  2. Gym time- I like to mix up my routine.  I don’t always love working out from home.  Breaking away & getting into a different environment helps me feel human and normal in society haha.
  3. Go to Starbucks and read a book.  I always like to read something that motivates me to do better, and self improvement books.  A book that has changed my life is “THE SUBTLE ART OF NOT GIVING A F*CK” & “THE WAR OF ART“. Or I will just go on my computer and get work done.
  4. Sister time- my sister is my best friend and soulmate haha.  I can’t live without her.  She inspires me to be a better person.  She is an amazing person and I’m so grateful to have such a positive soul in my life!
  5. Go shopping- even if its grocery shopping!  But do it by yourself!

Take time for yourself!  Be nice to yourself, and be a little selfish from time to time.  Because it really helps us to NOT be selfish when it comes to our kiddos.  What do you moms do to break away everyday?  Please share!

Have a great day!

xoxo,
