If you want a little doughnut with all good ingredients then keep on reading!  I created a little healthy doughnut that tastes amazing, grain free, healthy fats, low carb, refined sugar free, and guilt free.  If you’re going to cheat, then cheat clean right?!  But honestly, you can easily fit this in with your healthy diet and have it as a treat at night.  It’s so delicious and also kid approved.  I’m cutting out bad sugars again now that I’m wanting to shed the baby weight, but I’m doing it slowly and trying to keep it as healthy as possible, especially since I’m breast feeding.  I still have to have my treats, you guys know this!  BUT I’ll figure out a way to create a treat thats healthy and not going to set me off track.

If you’re into the keto diet then these are 100% for you!  Made with the best from Better Body Foods.  I used their coconut oil, agave and coconut flour.. Agave is a sweetener thats low glycemic.  Coconut oil is going to keep you feeling satisfied longer and the agave won’t give you a sugar crash like refined sugars will.  So here we go!  Super easy to make btw, just the way I like things.

FIRST, you need to get these DOUGHNUT MOLDS to cook with, OR just use a greased muffin tin.  I love those molds because they don’t stick and super easy to clean too.  Plus they make it fun to bake with, especially for kiddos because you can trick them into thinking they’re the real thing ya know?

WHAT YOU NEED

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • In a large bowl, mix soft coconut oil (heat up a little before if needed), eggs, agave and apple sauce.  Mix until smooth.  It may look a little chunky, but thats normal, it will smooth out in oven when its cooking.
  • Add in coconut flour and baking soda, stir until mixed together.
  • Add in chocolate chips.
  • Fill about two spoons up and place into each mold.  Place in oven for 17-20 minutes.
  • Makes about 12 doughnuts.

HAT / SWEATER / SKIRT / BOOTS & HERE

Holy shit you guys.  There are so many cute sock booties right now.  I’m having a moment of I want all of them but can’t afford to buy all haha.  Envious over them.  Like THESE & THESE I’m MAJOR eyeing right now.   These ones I’ve got on have been my favorite pair of boots ever.  The reason is because I love the way they fit.  Tight against the ankle, so you can wear them underneath jeans without it poking out all funky.  And of course with a skirt it looks phenomenal.

So shifting gears here.  Last week I was having a moment… as you guys know on my IG stories I kind spewed it all out.  I was just feeling so caved in with being so overwhelmed all at once.  I think I take on to much when I don’t have a ton of help.  BUT  with that said, I also think I should slow down and take one thing at a time, and thats what I’ve been doing the past week after that moment.  I love what I do, and the connection I’ve made with you guys has been the best part.  The community is so incredible and I realized this when I was having that moment.  So many of you reached out to me with books to read, giving me motivation, empathizing with me.. etc.  You guys made my day and I appreciate you ALL SO MUCH.

I started reading this book recommended by one of you, called “The 5 Second Rule” basically its this exercise you do to make you pull your head of your ass and keep moving.  It sounds SO simple and it really is that simple.  What you do is count backwards before you talk yourself out of it.  Because lets be real, we sometimes don’t want to do what we REALLY need to do, and what will improve our lives.  We all know what we need to do to better our lives, so lets DO IT.  It’s always the most simple things, like driving to the gym, lifting a weight, making dinner, reading, or starting that book you’ve been wanting to write.  You get it.

So I’ve been practicing this rule on myself with literally everything.  When I hear my alarm in the morning, I’ll count backwards… 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.  The moment I say 1 I MOVE.  You have to physically move and get shit done.  I do this when I feel super frustrated with Oaks, and about to raise my voice. It keeps me in check and helps me do the things I know I need to do.

I’m only half way through the book, but I’ll update you guys again once I’ve practiced this longer.  So far so good.

Have a great day!
